2-Way Fraud Alerts Are Coming in 2021 - Verify and Update Cardholder Contact Info

We’re pleased to announce that a new fraud protection tool, 2-Way Fraud Alerts, will be launched October 19, 2021 for all Fifth Third Commercial Card cardholders.

With 2-Way Fraud Alerts, cardholders will receive real-time notifications via text message and/or email regarding suspicious transactions. Cardholders can respond to the text notification via their mobile phone to validate the transaction or mark it as fraudulent, thus immediately blocking the card.
This enables cardholders to act faster, helps prevent card fraud and improves the overall cardholder experience.

Action required
To ensure your cardholders can take full advantage of this tool upon launch, it’s necessary to verify and update cardholder mobile phone numbers and email addresses.
