Official paper (hard-copy) transcripts of work completed at and degrees awarded by Dominican University are available through the Office of the Registrar.

Current students have the option of requesting paper transcripts through myDU. Students must be logged into myDU to see the option and cannot have an active Student Accounts hold that prevents sending of transcripts. The request form allows students to indicate the address to which the transcripts should be sent or to indicate that they would like the transcripts held in the Office of the Registrar (Lewis 115) for pick up.

Online Payment Option - Paper Transcripts

You can pay the $5 paper transcript fee, the $20 domestic overnight mail fee, or the $10 rush processing fee online, using either a credit card or electronic check through Cashnet. Please print out and include the payment receipt with your transcript request.

Option for Rush Processing of Paper Transcripts

Students requesting transcripts have the option of paying an additional $10 rush processing fee. This charge applies to both current students who pay no regular transcript fee and former students who pay $5 per transcript. The cost of overnight mail is not covered by the $10 fee.

For students who opt to pay the fee and submit their request by 1:00pm (either in person or by fax), their transcripts will be ready for pick up by 4:00pm that same day or will go out in that day's mail. Students who submit their requests after 1:00pm can pick up their transcripts by 10:00am the next business day (click here to see the list of university holidays).

It is the responsibility of the student to verify with Student Accounts to determine that there are no holds on the student's account that prevent processing of transcripts; payment of the fee does not override an account hold.

The Rush Processing option is not available:
  • to current students who submit transcript requests through myDU
  • in the week prior to the start of the fall or spring semester, the first week of fall or spring semester, or the advanced registration period in early to mid November or in late March/early April.
