  • Before student teaching, every student must complete a minimum of 100 field experience hours.  The semester prior to student teaching, 75 hours must have been completed with the final 25 in process.
  • Classes requiring field experience hours are listed in the Undergraduate Bulletin.  
  • Field Experience hours are attached to individual course assignments.  The hours must be completed during the semester that you are taking the course.  Applications must be submitted at the beginning of the semester.  Applications received past midterm of any given semester will not be accepted.
  • No student can be placed in a school to complete field experience until they have successfully completed the Criminal Background Check Process (see link in left column on SOE page)
