USING THE TELEPHONE BUTTON FEATURES
Call Forwarding: Get dial tone, press FORWARD or #9. Dial extension number for forwarding and hang up. To cancel: Get dial tone, press FORWARD or ##9 and hang up.
Camp –On: If you hear a busy signal or greeting, press CAMP or #1 and hang up. Camp-on calls you back with a long ring when the busy extension becomes free. To cancel: Get dial tone, press CAMP or ##1 and hang up.
Change Ring: Get dial tone. Key in *572. Key in single digits (1 through 8) to hear various tone pitches. The last digit you key in before you hang up will produce the ringing tone of your telephone.
Conference Call: Call the first person. Press FLASH, dial the next extension or dial 7, access code and outside number. Press CONF or FLASH *4 to connect each party. To reconnect with conference call if call is refused, busy or isn’t answered press CONNECT. Up to eight parties in a conference, two can be outside calls.
Consultation Call : Allows you to talk privately with a second party while the first party is waiting. During a call press FLASH. Dial the extension number or dial 7 and the outside number. To reconnect with the first party, press CONNECT.
Connect: When in doubt of what you have done in transferring a call, press CONNECT and this will bring you back to the original caller.
Group Pick-Up: Allows you to pick up a call to an extension in your pick-up group from your own extension without knowing the other extension number. Get dial tone, press PICK two times or **3.
Hold: Allows you to temporarily hang up a line without disconnecting your caller. To reconnect: Press line button of call being held and pick up receiver.
Park: Allows you to transfer a call to an extension and hold it there. Press park or FLASH *6. Dial new extension number and then hang up.
Pick-Up: Allows you to answer a call to another extension from your own extension as long as you know the other extension number. Get dial tone, press PICK or *3, dial the number of the ringing extension.
Repertory Dialing : Not available on single line telephones. Get dial tone, press SET or *566, press desired repdial button. Key in digits including access codes for desired sequence. To make repdial call: Press desired repdial button.
Save and Repeat : This allows you to save a number you have dialed so you can redial the number later by simply pressing the Save/Repeat button again. To save an extension or an outside number, get the dial tone, dial the extension number, or 7 and the outside number, press Save/Repeat or FLASH #4. Hang up. To call your saved number, get the dial tone, press Save/Repeat or #7.
Station Speed: Allows you to set up single-digit codes for your frequently called numbers. Get dial tone, press ##3 and number from 1 through 9. Dial numbers exactly as desired, including access code. To make Station Speed call: Get dial tone, press #3 and number coded. (Example: ##31 – 7 – access code and home number.)
Transfer: Allows you to transfer a call to another extension. Press transfer, dial extension number. Announce caller. Hang up.
