What is the schedule of classes for Summer 2011?

Where do I go to register online?
Our portal is located at: http://www2.dom.edu/mydu.  If you click on the “myDU Login” link - log in with your student id number and your pin. You will be able to access your student records. Only you can see your Student records. 
 
What do I need to register online? 
You will need your student id number and your pin. Your student id number is the last 6 digits on your student id card. If you do not know what your id number is, call either the Registrar’s office at: 708-524-6774 or e-mail registrar@dom.edu (using your Dominican e-mail address).  You can also call the IT HelpDesk at: 708-524-6888 or email helpme@dom.edu.  Your pin can be retrieved here: https://domweb.dom.edu/retrievepin.  Your pin will be sent to the email address we have on file – which, if you are a DU student currently enrolled in classes, will be your DOMINICAN email address. If you are an international student and unable to use our Pin retrieval system, please call the HelpDesk.
 
How do I check my DU email account? 
IF your email address is: username@my.dom.edu it can be checked here: https://outlook.com/my.dom.edu.  If your email address is username@dom.edu,  it can be checked here: https://exchange.dom.edu/owa.  A student username typically uses the following format for their email address: The first four letters of your LAST name, followed by the first four of your FIRST name: John Smith would be smitjohn.  For any questions related to your DU email, please contact the IT HelpDesk at: 708-524-6888 or helpme@dom.edu.  

How do I register?
Once you have logged in to myDU, click on the Course Schedules section of the home page. A search window will open. Ensure first that you are in the correct Year/Term that you want to search. Then use the search to find the courses that you want. When you find the course in which you want to enroll, put a click with your mouse in the box directly to the left of the course, then click the “Add courses” button at the bottom of your screen. You will see a message that tells you that you have Successfully Added the course to your schedule.

I can’t see any box to click in when I have found the course for which I want to register.
Return to the Course Schedules section, on the front myDU page - - Does it say that the Add/Drop period for the Year/Term you have selected is Open or Closed? You can only enroll in an open registration semester.  Does the window show that you have holds? The window will show this at the top of the Course Schedules box: You have holds and are not allowed to Add and Drop courses. Additionally, it will list the type of hold that you have.

I have a hold on my account. What should I do?
First, read the language that states you have a Hold. If it is a hold that prevents you from registering, it will say, You cannot add or drop classes. Until you have this hold cleared, you will be unable to add or drop classes.  If you have something on your account that says “Holds: Application” or something similar, you will still be able
